Description

PEEK plastic (polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic for parts and components in extreme heat environments. PEEK plastic has similar mechanical properties to PPS, but offers a much higher heat deflection temperature and specific heat capacity. It has a slightly higher strength to weight ratio and higher impact strength versus PPS.

PEEK exhibits superior mechanical and electrical properties with a maximum continuous working temperature of 480°F and excellent retention of mechanical properties up to 570°F in a steam or high-pressure water environment.
